Dr. Monique D. Lewis is a Psychology Associate with Living & Growing, LLC in the District of Columbia. She earned a doctorate in School Psychology from Howard University and completed her predoctoral internship with the District of Columbia Public Schools in Washington, DC. Additionally, Dr. Lewis externed in the Neuropsychology and Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders clinics at Children’s National Medical Center in Rockville, Maryland.

Dr. Lewis has years of experience in private practice and with the District of Columbia Public Schools and Public Charter Schools, administering comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations and providing individual and group therapy services. Additionally, she has experience with conducting school readiness assessments in the areas of language, literacy, and mathematics.

Currently, Dr. Lewis conducts comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational evaluations for the District of Columbia Public, Public Charter, and private schools; she provides school-based treatment and therapy support services within public charter schools, and she provides private therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults. Her research interests include examining child social-psychological behaviors (i.e., anxiety), parent-child peer relationships, and gender differences among middle childhood. In addition to her clinical work and research, Dr. Lewis has a passion and interest in providing education and consultation about mental health awareness to children and families
